Local Device Storage

Users can remove local data by logging out, clearing app storage from device settings, or uninstalling the app. Removing the app from a device may remove local data stored on that device, but it may not automatically delete account-related information processed through connected services.

Third-Party Services
 

EmoCare may use third-party services for account login, authentication, cloud processing, app functionality, app store services, optional AI support, analytics, or technical operations.

These services may process certain information according to their own privacy policies and security practices. EmoCare does not control the privacy practices of third-party services.

Firebase, Google Sign-In, and Authentication

If EmoCare uses Firebase, Google Sign-In, or similar authentication services, these services may process account-related information such as email address, user ID, login status, and authentication data.

Medication reminders, health summaries, mood check-ins, journal notes, and doctor report preparation tools are for organization and wellness support only.

Users should always contact qualified healthcare professionals for medical questions, medication decisions, treatment plans, or serious health concerns.
 

Emergency Disclaimer

EmoCare is not an emergency service. SOS, emergency contact, and caregiver-support features are support tools only.

EmoCare cannot guarantee message delivery, caregiver response, emergency rescue, medical assistance, or immediate help. In a real emergency, users should call their local emergency number immediately.
 

Sharing of Information

EmoCare does not sell personal information.

Information may be shared only when needed to provide app functionality, when the user chooses to share information with caregivers or family members, when required by law, or when necessary to protect safety, prevent misuse, or maintain app security.
